Our Childhood Matters mentor spent time really getting to know our student & working out the best way to engage with him. She works in a very person-centred and strengths-based way following our student’s lead and building rapport via his special interests. It is clear that the staff at Childhood Matters are really experienced and knowledgeable.

Our experience has been very positive.

The best way to describe working with Childhood Matters is ‘easy’. They were easy to contact, and they set up the sessions incredibly quickly. It was easy to find all the necessary paperwork on their website. They made matching a mentor with the pupil look easy, as they hit it off straight away. Reading the weekly updates and end-of-term progress report was easy, as was reading the happy emails that I regularly received from the parents.

I was just reflecting that it is a pleasure to work with you as an Advocate who seeks collaboration and is supportive to the process. Unfortunately, your approach is unique and is not the usual approach I have had with advocates.
