With over 35 years’ experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Kaye has dedicated her career to supporting children and young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Kaye has worked extensively within mainstream primary and secondary schools, holding a variety of specialist roles including SENDCo and Advisory Teacher. Her experience has included supporting Looked After Children and working as an Advisory Teacher within Behaviour Support Teams in Hertfordshire and Herefordshire.
A particular passion throughout Kaye’s career has been supporting learners with dyslexia. She has extensive experience of assessing and supporting access arrangements, dating back to 1988, and has worked with learners across a wide range of ages and abilities.
Kaye believes that dyslexia should never be a barrier to success. Her approach is centred on understanding each individual learner, recognising their strengths and talents, and helping them develop the confidence and strategies they need to thrive.
She is delighted to have further enhanced her professional knowledge and skills in dyslexia screening following specialist training and an update of her practice with Dr Martin Bloomfield.
Kaye is passionate about helping dyslexic learners understand their strengths, overcome challenges and realise their potential.
